“Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”
Every morning when you wake up, it is important to know that God is right there ready and waiting to bless you. It is equally important to know that the enemy is also right there ready and waiting to mess up your day! You have a choice, you can either go with God, or you can follow the ways of the father of lies. The world has taken blow after blow from all sides for decades; today is no different. The economic standing is shaky, at best, families are being torn apart and even eliminated, the school system continues to get bad ratings, and people are fighting in every country…the list goes on and on.
When you stand to greet the day, remember that you are here for a very specific purpose. If you know what your purpose is, do it today and every day to the glory of God. If you are not sure, God will show you your purpose in the things that come naturally to you and in the things you love to do. Whatever your circumstance is today, God remains ready and willing to bless you, not harm you, (“I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11).
There is nothing about this time we live in that is easy. Heartache abounds, greed, desperation and lack are overwhelming, hunger, pain, suffering, strife…the daily, nightly, and internet news makes sure we don’t forget how terrible these times are. DO NOT STOP! There is hope for you, God said so and He is God, He cannot lie.
I heard my pastor say recently that the day after you decide to give up, is a day of victory. If today you decide give in to the pressure, I urge you to press in, keep moving; one more minute, one more hour, one more day. Tomorrow you will be able to rejoice in the victory over the struggles of yesterday!
The enemy is waiting for you to be depressed, anxious, and unwilling to lift your head to see the brightness of your future. Life was never meant to be easy, but your struggle is not the foundation for the rest of your life. Do not build a house of despair on what you see around you now. Circumstances are subject to change in the blink of an eye.
This world, this life, is not your final destination.Stay heaven-bound. Keep going, keep walking, keep singing, keep dancing, keep worshipping, keep praying, keep giving; keep on keepin’ on!
You CAN do this!
God will bless you.
