… Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Do not be misled, not everyone is going to make it to heaven. I cannot and will not apologize for scripture; God said it, and it is final ; (text ref. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). I fully support your right to make your own decisions about how you live your life and with whomever. Since the days of Eden, we have been given the opportunity to choose for ourselves.
Understand this though, sin is sin, no one is greater than the other. Right will always be right, and wrong will always be wrong no matter how many people sign a form in your favor that says your sin is now an acceptable behavior. Society may accept it, but not all things are acceptable in the eyes of God.
We’ve become a hugely tolerant society. We look at some things and are outraged, while we turn our heads and accept others. We cannot afford to be nonchalant about sin or selective about what we choose to let bother us. All sin must be acknowledged and repented. … I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2
The Word of God is very clear. There is no more time remaining to get things together. Do. It. Today. Read the text above again…and again. God does NOT approve of such things. Please heed the word. If you want to get into heaven, you have got to stop and do a little life cleaning. Call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved. Confess your sins, and believe in your heart that Christ is Lord. He will hear you. And he will save you. (Romans 10:10)
Just being “good enough” will never be good enough to get you there (Ephesians 2:8-9). Worshiping privately because you don’t believe in organized religion, isn’t going to get you there. Christianity and faith in God are meant to be publicized. Do good with, for, and to those around you and those less fortunate. Do the right thing even when no one is looking. Study with others, worship with others, spread the love the Lord showed you by waking you up the morning and opened your eyes enough to read this.
Live a life of higher standards; it’s what God expects of you.
